Marc Warren continued in his rich vein of form running Dutchman Joost Luiten close at the ISPS Handa Wales Open on a dramatic Sunday at Celtic Manor.
Warren, a student of putting coach Phil Kenyon, made three consecutive birdies from the fourth hole to grab the lead as he approached the final nine holes. Although surrounded by two birdies, a double bogey at the 12th hole saw Luiten take the lead and Marc eventually finish the week in a tie for 4th place. Warren is is excellent form of late with this his third top 4 finish in his last six European tour events, including his recent victory in at the Made in Denmark event.
The golfing world will now switch it's focus to Scotland and the arrival of the much anticipated Ryder Cup at Gleneagles. Harold Swash Putting Director Phil Kenyon will be present during the practise days and tournament helping students Henrik Stenson and Thomas Bjorn prepare for what promises to be a fantasitc week in Perthshire.
Good luck Europe!
