Southport's Lee Slattery held off the chasing pack to secure the M2M Russian Open by a single shot on Sunday, his second career European Tour title.
Slattery, coached by Swash Putting instructor Mike Kanski, posted a two under par 69 in his fourth round at Skolkovo Golf Club to end the tournament on 15 under par, claiming his first victory since winning the Bankia Madrid Masters back in 2011.
This timely victory moves Lee up into 66th place on the Race to Dubai standings, with only a handful of events remaining before the season finale Dubai World Championships.
Congratulations Lee, keep up the great form!
