German Marcel Siem secured a dramatic victory at the BMW Masters in Shanghai with a chip-in birdie at the first sudden death playoff hole.
Siem, a client of putting coach and Harold Swash Putting Director Phil Kenyon, had endured a difficult finish to his round with bogeys at the final two holes. With a three man playoff underway and Siem the only party to miss the green in regulation, a chip-in birdie 3 settled matters, snatching the title from the grasp of Englishman Ross Fisher and the in-form Alexander Levy.
This victory moves Marcel up to 4th place in the overall Race to Dubai standings, with a previous season-ending high being 14th place in 2012.
Congratulations and keep up the great form Marcel!
