Rose strikes gold for GB in Rio

Published: 14 August 2016

England's Justin Rose added to Team GB's medal tally with a gold at the Olympic Games golf in Rio, Brazil.

Rose, coached by Swash Putting Director Phil Kenyon, finished two strokes clear of Silver medalist and Open Champion Henrik Stenson - another one of Phil's students!

The pair tied at 15 under par playing the final hole, with Bronze medalist Matt Kuchar a further two strokes back. A birdie four to Henrik's bogey six saw Rose take the first Olympic gold medal in golf for over 100 years.

Congratulatons Justin from all at Harold Swash Putting!
