Fleetwood back to top of Rankings with victory in France
Published: 02 July 2017

Southport's Tommy Fleetwood returned to the top of the Race to Dubai rankings with a superb victory today at the HNA Open de France. Tommy, coached on the greens by Swash Putting Director Phil Kenyon, will head into the Open Championship later this month in the form of his life after claiming his second victory of the 2017 season.

Fleetwood struck a flawless final round of 66 at the 2018 Ryder Cup venue Le Golf National to finish 12 under par, a shot ahead of the overnight joint-leader Peter Uihlein.

It's been a meteoric-rise for the 26-year-old, who was 188th in the world last September but will leap to a career-high 15th in the world when the rankings are updated on Monday.

Congratulations Tommy, his caddie Ian Finnis and the rest of the team!
