Englishman Matthew Fitzpatrick lead from the front on Sunday to secure his second career European tour title at the Nordea Masters, Bro Hof Slott GC, Sweden.
The 21 year old from Sheffield, who secured his maiden title at the 2015 British Masters at Woburn, cruised to a three shot victory from Dane Lasse Jensen. An overnight five shot lead was cut down to two strokes going into the back nine, but a mature performance down the stretch kept the chasing pack at bay and makes Matthew the second youngest Englishman to hold two European tour titles by the age of 21 (behind only Nick Faldo).
Fitzpatrick, coached by Swash Putting Director and putting coach Phil Kenyon, had ten top ten finishes alongside his victory last year, and this latest title could go a long way to securing his place in the 2016 Ryder Cup at Hazeltine in the Autumn.
Congratulations Matthew on a superb victory!
