Italian Francesco Molinari produced a flawless final round at Wentworth to win his first Rolex Series title at the BMW PGA Championship.
The Italian, who works with Swash Putting director Phil Kenyon, entered the day in a share of the lead with 2014 champion Rory McIlroy but hit the front on his own with a birdie on the third and never looked back, signing for a 68 and a superb 17 under par total.
Another of Phil's students, England's Justin Rose, claimed his ninth career PGA Tour title with a three-shot win at the Fort Worth Invitational. The new world number three carded a six-under-par closing round of 64 to progress with a 20 under total - three clear of nearest challenger Brooks Koepka, of the USA.
A fantastic double on both the European tour and the PGA tour, great work Phil!
And ofcourse a huge congratulations to Francesco and Justin, hitting top form with the 2018 US Open only two weeks away.
